• 

• What’s included in an ixxi?
  
  Every ixxi comes with everything you need to hang it: the x’s, i’s, corner buttons, hanging strip and power strips. Also a clear manual is added, as well as a preview of your ixxi. See what’s included. Exception is ixxi refill. With this, you buy single cards.

• What ixxi card sizes are available?
  
  When you create your own ixxi, the ixxi cards are 20 x 20 cm. Exception is the ixxi pixel, for which the cards are 10 x 10 cm. The card sizes of an ixxi special can be 20 x 20 cm, 14 x 14 cm or 10 x 10 cm (10 cm is about 3.9 inch).

• Are the ixxi specials also available in other sizes?
  
  The sizes of the ixxi specials are set. The pixelated ixxi specials can be made in different sizes with own images with ixxi pixel.

• Can I order spare elements, such as extra strips or x's?
  
  Yes, under ixxi products you'll find several spare parts, the ixxi tools.

• Can I order single cards?
  
  Yes you can! ixxi refill gives you the option to buy ixxi cards, without the hanging system. Four cards is the minimum order size.
  Blank cards are available at ixxi tools.

• What are the ixxi cards made of?
  
  The ixxi cards are made of high grade synthetic matte paper, called Synaps. It is water proof, does not rip or curl, and is UV resistant.

• 

• Do I have to upload square pictures to fit the square ixxi cards?
  
  No, that is not necessary. You can upload a rectangular picture. With the pop up you can edit and/or move the picture around so that you’ll get the exact crop you want.

• Can I spread a picture over more than one card within an ixxi collage?
  
  Unfortunately, this is not possible. But you could use ixxi refill: here you can spread a picture over a minimum of 4 cards. You would have to order the ixxi hanging system separately, under ixxi tools.

• At what resolution should I upload my image file?
  
  For an optimal result, ixxi recommends a 150 dpi, 1:1 resolution. A somewhat smaller resolution (i.e. 100 dpi, or even less) also gives good results for larger ixxi's. This depends on the distance from which the ixxi will be viewed.

• 

• The resolution of my uploaded picture is 'low', but the preview looks great. How is that possible?
  
  The resolution needed for an image on screen is much lower than the resolution needed for a good print. If the ixxi module states your image is moderate/poor, we advise you to choose an other image or reduce the size of your ixxi.

• What is the maximum file size I can upload?
  
  The maximum file size is 50 MB per file and/or has a width of 8000 pixels. In case you have a larger file, please email us at: office@ixxi.nu.

• Apart from photo’s, can I also ixxi a logo, image or text file?
  
  Yes, you can save your digital file as jpg, jpeg or png, and use that to create your ixxi.
You can use either RGB or CMYK.

• Do ixxi prints look the same as a picture print?
  
  Not necessarily. A picture print uses another production process than a digital ixxi print. Additionally, the mostly glossy paper used for pictures differs from the matte Synaps material used for ixxi. Therefore, colors can have a different appearance.

• Can I save my order, and then complete it whenever I want?
  
  At the moment this is not possible yet.

• 

• How do I hang my ixxi?
  
  Standard, every ixxi is delivered with a strip and several power strips. Power strips only stick to even surfaces. If you are not sure of the surface of your wall, you can use small nails to hang the hanging strip. You can also hang your ixxi from a standard curtain rail. See also: hanging.

• Can I hang my ixxi from a curved wall or rail?
  
  Yes, if the minimum radius is 80 cm.

• Can I remove and replace ixxi cards?
  
  Yes, that is possible! With ixxi refill, you can buy single cards to replace your existing ixxi from time to time. ixxi cards can easily be removed with your hands.

• 

• Do the included power strips stick to all surfaces?
  No, not to coarse stucco, coarse textured paint, vinyl wallpaper and/or oily surfaces. In those cases, we recommend attaching the strip with small nails.

• What is the best way to remove the power strips from the wall?
  
  The power strips have a little tab: gently peel back the strip, like a chewing gum, from the wall surface, and pull in line with the wall (Do not pull it too hard towards you!).

• What is the price of an ixxi?
  
  The price of an ixxi depends on many factors: the size, whether or not you use your own picture, if you choose to make an ixxi pixel, etc. When you go to our ixxi module you can first choose which ixxi you want. In the second step you can fill in the size you want. The corresponding price will be visible right away, excluding shipping costs.

• What are the shipping costs?

• What is the delivery time?
  
  We take a maximum of 5 working days to produce your ixxi. After that delivery time differs per country. View shipping time PDF.

• Do you ship worldwide?
  
  Yes we do! Shipments can be tracked with the track & trace code supplied.

• Can ixxi be found in stores?
  
  ixxi can only be found in stores in The Netherlands. For an overview you can look here.
  

• Do you have separate prices for resellers outside of The Netherlands?
